Q:I have smallish nailbeds, and was wondering what I could do to make them a little longer/wider so that nail polish looks better?

I’m not sure that it’s possible to change the length of your nail beds permanently, but you can gain a little length by pushing back your cuticles regularly. Apply lotion or cuticle cream, let it soften your cuticles for a bit, and then push your cuticles back. That will make them look a bit longer. This can also be done after a shower, when the water and steam have softened your cuticles. Hope that helps!
